<p>The Ray White Marine team is ramping up for their next big auction at Palazzo Versace Ballroom on Sunday November 20th at 11:30 am. As a result of the positive response at the Sydney Boat Show, a great selection of vessels from both Sydney and the Gold Coast are ready to go under the hammer.</p>
<p>The impressive line up of vessels includes a limited edition Ferrari 32ft Riva, one of 40 in existence. There is also 2 receiver boats; a 2008 Fully optioned Vitech 76ft, a 2002 575 Sunliner and one mortgagee vessel in possession; a 2001 54ft Sea Ray. The team is confident these boats will be SOLD on the day.</p>

An opportunity has come about to purchase an Australian on water icon. Acting on behalf of Jirsch &amp; Sutherland, RWM presents ALEXA a beautifully crafted Halvorsen 48&#8242; that will be bought by the first genuine cash buyer (once valued around the million dollar mark). The vessel was built in 1946 &amp; is powered by Twin Diesels along with a Volvo Diesel Genset.</span></p>
<p>Previous owners have added plenty of extras over its 65 year heritage including, five house batteries with solar power, two back up start batteries, hot water system holding 60 litres, inverted 240 volt electrical system, marineradio, depth sounder, chart plotter, clarion stereo system, 450L fuel capacity &amp; 1000L water capacity.</p>
<p>For a 50ft vessel the accommodation space is magnificent, with master cabin, one double, one single salon, three on-fold down beds and two on forward cabins with four bunks sleeping 10 comfortably. There are two showers, two toilets, twin sinks and one table and basin spate. ALEXA comes with a full size forward galley, gas stove (marine) gas oven, fridge/freezer in saloon (wheelhouse) all cupboards with all bench tops having built in lighting (12 volt).</p>
<p>Up top the bridge deck includes diverted helm and full lounges and sun beds under awning, whilst up the back on the aft deck are two ice chests, duckboards, full safety gear, life jackets, fire extinguishers, first aid kit, life rings accompanied by a full set of ropes plus two anchors/chains.</p>
<p>This boat will be the buy of 2011 &amp; will be sold with the first appropriate cash buyer to own the boat. With the engines serviced just this week she is ready to set sail at a moment’s notice.</p>

<p>Ray White Marine will make its Sydney debut during Australia’s largest recreational boating showcase &#8211; the 44th Sydney International Boat Show.</p>
<p>Since its inception on the Gold Coast in early 2010, Ray White Marine has proven highly successful, notching up luxury vessel sales of more than $20 million, and building on this success, will make its foray into Sydney with an auction coinciding alongside the five-day boating extravaganza at Darling Harbour, Thursday July 28 to Monday August 1, expected to lure more than 80,000 visitors.</p>
<p>In addition to the auction, Ray White Marine will also make its first appearance exhibiting at the Sydney International Boat Show.</p>
<p>Although Ray White is historically associated with property, the Ray White Marine initiative combines marine and boating industry specialists with the vast resources, trusted name and national and international marketing reach of the iconic group.</p>
<p>Mark Ali of Ray White Marine, who has been involved in the marine industry for 15 years, said the application of proven sales and marketing programs provides an effective avenue for boating enthusiasts to buy, sell, upgrade or downsize their vessel in a significantly reduced time frame.</p>
<p>“Ray White Marine has proven highly successful at bringing together vendors and purchasers from across Australia and overseas,” he said.</p>
<p>“By showcasing vessels on a scale that only a national brand can offer, we’ve achieved exceptional sales rates.”</p>
<p>In addition to boat sales, Ray White Marine has the capacity to market individual berths right through to large-scale marinas, which has helped to rapidly establish its reputation as a market leader in Australia, and has also introduced a range of new initiatives and services including boat finance through Loan Market, and through Concierge, free 30 day insurance for boats sold under the hammer, including those listed for the first Sydney auction.</p>
<p>Ray White Marine is a joint venture between Andrew and Greg Bell, directors of Queensland’s largest real estate firm, the Ray White Surfers Paradise Group, and the owners of Marina Mirage Marina on the Gold Coast.</p>
<p>Andrew Bell said Ray White’s specialised auction marketing concept had been adapted to the marine industry.</p>
<p>“Previously, boat sellers may have moored their vessel in a marina waiting for a potential buyer, whilst now we have a viable and efficient method to bring boaties, brokers, investors, buyers and sellers together more effectively in the one place to achieve sales in a significantly shorter time frame.”</p>
<p>Mr Bell said Ray White Marine’s team of marine industry specialists has a wealth of knowledge and expertise gained from representing major luxury European vessel manufacturers and brokerage sales for high-end clients throughout Australia.</p>
<p>“With several decades of experience between them, the team has marketed boats, super-yachts, marinas and berths across the nation,” he said.</p>
<p>“Since establishing the first office on the Gold Coast, Ray White Marine has enjoyed rapid success, and the Sydney auction marks the next step in establishing the operation nationally.”<br />
The inaugural Sydney marine auction will be held at the Sydney Hilton’s Grand Ballroom, 488 George Street, at 4pm Saturday July 30.</p>

<p>Ray White Marine has achieved $3 million dollars in sales following The Event auction campaign, using an approach never seen before in the industry.</p>
<p>Sales and Marketing Manager Mark Ali said the fast sales of four luxury vessels within four weeks of The Event, demonstrated a positive attitude from buyers and sellers towards the innovative way Ray White Marine was choosing to auction its vessels.</p>
<p>“Vendors and buyers are becoming more comfortable with the auction process as an acceptable and credible means of purchasing high end luxury motor yachts,” he said.</p>
<p>“We are not aware of any other marine event in the world where potential buyers can walk into an establishment such as the Palazzo Versace ballroom and participate in virtual tours of vessels for sale via high definition video, prior to bidding.</p>
<p>“In addition a Ray White Marine auction is a ‘no additional charge’ process with no buyer’s premium, meaning that unlike other auctions the buyer is not required to pay a commission on top of the purchase price.”</p>
<p>A total of 10 boats went up for auction at The Event five weeks ago, and in addition to the four already sold, another three have had conditional offers totalling approximately $1.4 million.</p>
<p>A Riviera M370 sports cruiser berthed in Sydney was sold immediately after the auction following its presentation on the big screen, and the other sales were Sea Ray 455 and Mustang 46 sports cruisers, and a Sunseeker Manhattan 60-foot motor yacht.</p>
<p>“There were 36 registered bidders at the auction, including three interstate phone bidders – one of whom bid well in excess of a million dollars,” said Mr Ali.</p>
<p>“We are also pleased with the interest and activity generated during the auction process, which resulted in more than 100 inspections during the 3-week lead up.”</p>
<p>Mr Ali said that the introduction of free insurance for the first 30 days, boat finance and other innovative offers Ray White Marine have made available to buyers, are new to the industry and being well-accepted into the market.</p>
<p>“The Ray White Marine team has more than 20 years experience in the marine industry, so whilst Ray White is synonymous with property, this new initiative brings the boating public the vast resources of the group as well as the trusted brand name,” he said.</p>
<p>The next Ray White Marine auction is scheduled for early May and listing registrations are now open.</p>

<p>Ray White Marine was recently launched on Queensland’s Gold Coast. It’s a completely new direction for the Ray White Group and the brand is proving to be a powerful vehicle in an industry ripe for change. Behind the initiative are Andrew and Greg Bell of the Ray White Surfers Paradise Group and the owners of Marina Oceanus at Marina Mirage.</p>
<p>Sales and Marketing Manager, Mark Ali, says that the traditional way to sell a boat has been to list it with a broker and essentially wait for a buyer, sometimes for years.</p>
<p>“While some operators have tried marine auctions this new partnership with Ray White delivers a professional, credible, world-class brand and a successful auction formula.  It also allows us the opportunity to leverage the organisations’ massive marketing resources and services, creating enormous audience reach. We have also been able to develop a range of offerings and services that really differentiate Ray White Marine, including 30 days of free insurance for the buyer.”</p>
<p>The free boat insurance offer developed through Concierge is now proving to be a compelling part of the unique Ray White Marine equation.</p>
<p>“The insurance offer is particularly great for sales concluding on the weekend as we’ve had Concierge people attending the auctions, ready to organise the cover note on the spot.”</p>
<p>Andrew Bell says Ray White Marine is bringing major transformation to the marine industry by successfully applying tried and proven real estate practices. And although in its early stages, the business model is clearly working; the group is now being inundated with enquiries from buyers and sellers alike.</p>
<p>“We’re talking about elements completely foreign to marine sales – things like vendor paid advertising, structured and sophisticated marketing campaigns, no buyers premium where commission is taken out of the sale price instead of being paid for by the buyer which can prove a potential impediment to the sale, boat funding through Loan Market and the free insurance offer through Concierge” Andrew says.</p>
<p>Club Marine, owned by Allianz, is the industry’s largest boat insurer and Ray White’s partner in the marine insurance offer. CEO Greg Fisher moved across from Allianz to head up the marine insurance entity six months ago and says extending the offer to Ray White Marine was intuitive.</p>
<p>“The Allianz relationship with Concierge has always been very positive, so when the opportunity came to develop a free insurance offer for Ray White Marine, we didn’t hesitate” Greg says.</p>
<p>“It’s the only offering of its kind and we’re looking forward to extending our successful relationship into this new and exciting initiative.”</p>
